Luton DART a game-changer for Airport passengers
The Direct Air – Rail Transit is set to open in March

From March 10th the Luton DART (Direct Air- Rail Transit) will transport passengers from Luton Airport Parkway station to the terminal of London Luton Airport in under four minutes.
The new airport transfer also delivers faster rain connections to over 60 + locations across the Thameslink as well as the East Midlands Railway network. For instance, passengers travelling to Luton from London St Pancras will be able to do this in as little as 32 minutes.
General Manager Linsey Sweet expects the new service to be a big success:
“It will be a massive improvement on what the current connection is, almost seamless really”
The new Luton DART will can be used with a combined rail/bus ticket:
“It’s just an extension of your rail journey”
“All on the same ticket, the same as the bus ticket you would use now if you are a regular user of Luton Airport”
Sweet hopes the whole town will get behind the DART:
“Hopefully the whole town will get behind it once it opens; I see it as a game changer”
