CCTV appeal following attempted robbery in Watford

Police have released images of several males who they would like to identify following an attempted robbery in Watford.

According to police reports it happened at around 3.10pm on Monday 3 June in Shepherds Road. A group of males approached the victim and demanded his mobile phone. The victim refused and the suspects assaulted him before making off from the scene. No injuries were reported.

It thought the suspects headed in the direction of the underground station.

Detective Constable Ben Chandler, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said:

“Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please contact us.

“We are releasing these images because we believe the individuals pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist our investigation.”
