Further arrests in High Wycombe murder investigation

A man and woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender

Officers conducting a murder investigation following the death of a man in High Wycombe have today (Tuesday 23) made two further arrests.

A 32-year-old woman from Chalfont St Giles and a 29-year-old man from Harrow have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

They are both currently in police custody.

The arrests are in connection with the death of Andrew Ballantyne, aged 55, who died following an incident in Micklefield Road on 31 July this year.

So far, five men have been charged with murder in connection with this investigation.

They are Ramah Lambkin, aged 24, of Rowan Avenue, High Wycombe, Asher Anderson, aged 35, of Walton Gardens, Wembley, Daniel Ramsey, aged 25, of Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, Nickolas Williams, aged 25, of Gibbs Close, High Wycombe and James Scott, aged 32 of Hawthorne Road, High Wycombe.

A 31-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman, both from High Wycombe, and a 29-year-old man from Birmingham, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on 24 August.

Police say they have been released on bail.

A 29-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on 3 September.

Officers add that he has been released under investigation.
