A flood warning remains in place for Aylesbury this morning.

The Environment Agency says, although no more rainfall is predicted this weekend, levels on the Bear Brook and its tributaries are expected to keep rising.

A spokesperson said:

'We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation.

'Our incident response staff are in the area clearing trash screens.

'Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings, and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.'
