Fire causes 'severe' damage to flat in Milton Keynes

A fire has caused "severe" damage to a flat in Milton Keynes, according to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.

It happened this afternoon (27 July) at around 3.40pm in The Hide, Netherfield.

Three other flats were damaged by smoke.

The fire service has confirmed two appliances and crews from West Ashland, one from Broughton and two officers attended the scene.

Firefighters used two main jets, two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus and a fan.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
