Fire crews in Bedfordshire tackle large blaze at derelict school
Fire crews were called to the scene earlier this morning (6/10)
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue say they've now scaled down their response to a huge fire at a derelict school this morning.
Crews were called to Robert Bruce Middle School at around 6.30am this morning, where the blaze engulfed around a quarter of the building.
The school has been closed for 7 years - emergency services tell us no one was injured.
Fire crews were mobilised from Kempston, Bedford, Sandy, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, as well as 4 fire engines from colleagues over the border.
