A large fire has broken out at a house under construction in Bedfordshire overnight.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called out shortly before 10pm on Thursday (24 April) to an unfinished property in Four Acre Drive, Wixams.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a two-storey building completely on fire. Crews used an aerial platform to tackle the blaze.

A drone has also been used to assess the fire.
