Storm Eunice: All Bucks schools closed as red weather warning issued

Bucks Council is advising schools to close

A number of schools across Bucks, Beds and Herts are closed, as the area braces for a rare red weather warning thanks to Storm Eunice.

Local councils have online services for school closures in Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire.

Bucks schools closed

Bucks Council has confirmed, following the red weather warning being issued, all schools in the county have been advised to close.

Individual schools are contacting parents if there are remote learning arrangements in place.

Wycombe High School (Girls), High Wycombe, is closed, with remote learning.

East Claydon, is closed, after advice on changing weather conditions.

Aston Clinton School, Aylesbury, is closed with work on DB Primary.

Swanbourne Church of England School, Milton Keynes, is closed, with remote learning via Class Dojo.

Westfield School, Bourne End, is closed.

St Louis Catholic School is closed.

Chiltern Way Academy - Prestwood, Wendover and Bierton Hill Campus, is closed, with further information for parents via text.

Chestnut Lane School, Amersham, is providing home learning activities via ParentMail.

Ivingswood Academy, Chesham, will be closed, with work emailed to students.

Weston Turville Church of England School, Aylesbury, has work on Google Classroom.

Aylesbury Vale Academy, Aylesbury, is closing the school after advice from Bucks Council.

Winslow Church of England Combined School, Buckingham, is closed with learning on Class Dojo.

The Grange School, Aylesbury, is closed with work set remotely.

Woodside Junior School, Amersham, is closed because of the weather.

Burford School, Marlow, says it's closed after instructions from Bucks Council.

Dorney School, Dorney, will be closed, with details on the school website.

Roundwood Primary School, Buckingham, will be remote learning, with an email sent by class teachers.

Stoke Mandeville Combined School, Aylesbury, will be remote learning.

Highworth Combined School and Nursery, High Wycombe, will have remote learning only.

Halton Community Combined School, Aylesbury, is closed because the red weather warning coincides with the journeys to and from school.

Bourton Meadow Academy, Linden Village, is switching to remote learning, apologising for inconvenience.

Naphill & Walters Ash School, High Wycombe, is closed until Tuesday 1st March, after half term.

St Mary's Church of England School, Aylesbury, is closed, with remote learning in place.

Claytons Primary School, Bourne End, is closed, with work on Seesaw/Tapestry from 9.30am.

Carrington Junior School, High Wycombe, will be learning remotely, with children's teachers getting in touch via Seesaw.

The Chalfonts Community College, Gerrards Cross, will have lessons delivered online.

Chartridge Combined School, Chesham, will have remote learning on teams from 9.30am.

Waddesdon Village Primary School, Aylesbury, is closed and learning will be remote.

Thomas Harding Junior School, Chesham, is closed, with remote learning on Google Classroom.

Quainton Church of England School, Aylesbury, has "no choice but to close the school for the day."

The Pace Centre, Aylesbury, is closed due to both the safety of pupils, and staff having to work from home because theior own children are off school.

George Grenville Academy, Buckingham, is closed, with teachers due to contact parents first thing, to explain what work can be completed.

New Millside Pre-School, Aylesbury, is closed, due to the inability to sufficiently ventilate, without opening doors and windows.

Buckingham Primary School, Buckingham, is closed due to the proximity of trees, with learning delivered via Seesaw.

Brushwood Junior School, Chesham, is asking parents to contact the school office for half term support, as they move to remote learning.

Maids Moreton Church of England School, Buckingham, is moving to remote learning, partly due to its rural site.

Denham Green E-ACT Primary Academy, Denham Green, will have remote learning offered via Class Dojo.

Chenies School, Chenies, is closed sue to adverse weather.

Stocklake Park school, Aylesbury, will switch to home learning to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Lane End Primary School, High Wycombe, will close, and move to remote learning.

Overstone Combined School, Leighton Buzzard, is closed to all pupils and staff.

Little Kingshill Combined School, Great Missenden, will have remote learning with details on ParentMail.

The Mary Towerton School at Studley Green, High Wycombe, will have remote learning details sent by class emails by 9.30am.

Prestwood Infant School, Great Missenden, will move to remote learning for the day.

Bedgrove Junior School, Aylesbury, will close to all pupils and staff, reopening after half term.

St Edward's Catholic Junior School, Aylesbury, will move to remote learning, thanks to staff absences caused by the weather.

Hazlemere Church of England Combined School, High Wycombe, will have home learning available on DB primary.

Long Crendon School, Aylesbury, will move to online learning due to adverse weather.

Lee Common Church of England School, Great Missenden, is closed.

Haydon Abbey School and Preschool, Aylesbury, is closed due to the difficulties of staff and pupils travelling.

Bourne End Academy, will return to normal operation on 1st March.

Hughenden Primary School, High Wycombe, will have remote learning set by class teachers via Class DoJo by 9.30am.

Wooburn Green Primary School, Wooburn Green, will be closed to pupils, with schools delivering remote learning.

Bierton Pre-School, Aylesbury, is closed due to adverse weather conditions.

Turnfurlong Infant School, Aylesbury, will have remote learning issued via Microsoft Teams.

Cadmore End Church of England School, High Wycombe, will move to adverse weather conditions.

The Misbourne School, Great Missenden, will move to remote learning for the day.

Buckingham Park Church of England Primary School, Aylesbury, has moved to remote learning following a walk around the site.

Bedgrove Infant School, Aylesbury, will have remote learning provided and Grover Club cancelled, but Grover Holiday Club will operate as usual over half term.

Hawridge and Cholesbury Church of England School, Chesham, is closed due to the remote nature of the site, with remote learning on the class's eschools page.

Aylesbury High School (Girls), Aylesbury, has moved to remote learning.

Great Missenden Church of England Combined School, Great Missenden, is closed, with staff ready to deliver remote learning.

The Disraeli School and Children's Centre, High Wycombe, is closed, partly due to the position of the school on a hill.

Great Kimble Church of England School, Great Kimble, is closed, with schools ready to deliver remote learning.

Little Marlow CE School, Marlow, is closed due to the weather, and rising staff Covid cases, with remote learning activities via Google Classroom.

Holy Trinity Church of England School, Marlow, will have remote learning delivered by Google Classroom.

The Elmhurst School, Aylesbury, is closed, with schools ready to implement remote learning.

Bearbrook Combined School, Aylesbury, is closed, with plans in place to implement remote learning.

Princes Risborough School, Princes Risborough, will have work provided through Google Classroom for remote learning.

Beaconsfield High School (Girls), Beaconsfield, will have work provided through Teams.

Stone Church of England Combined School, Aylesbury, will be closed, due to concerns including those that walk on the main Oxford Road.

Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School, Aylesbury, is moving to remote learning, with the site closed to staff and students.

The Beaconsfield School, Beaconsfield, is closed due to concerns over safety travelling and flying debris.

Kite Ridge House, High Wycombe, is closed to keep everyone safe.

St Nicolas' Church of England Combined School, Taplow, will be closed due to high winds.
