Bedfordshire Police say a Section 60 Order's been in place in areas of Luton overnight, after three knife-related incidents in the area last night.

The order gives officers heightened stop-and-search powers, enabling them to conduct them on anyone in the area.

It's been in place and was due to expire at 8am this morning, but officers say they would be assessing the situation, and it may be extended.

The order covered Bramingham Road, Wauluds Bank Drive, Henge Way, Hampshire Way, Olympic Close, Northwell Drive and Brompton Close.
