Elderly man hit by electric unicycle in Luton suffers seriously injuries

The man, in his 80s, remains in hospital after the incident on Monday

Officers are appealing for information after a collision in Luton left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

At around 4pm on Monday (5/9) police were called to a report of a collision between an electric unicycle and a pedestrian on the eastbound pathway of Hatters Way.

The pedestrian – a man in his 80s – was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he currently remains.

Sergeant Mark Casey, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us as soon as possible so we can establish the facts surrounding this incident.
