However Watford could face a promotion or play-off decider in their last game of the year, against a fancied Middlesbrough side on Saturday 4th May 2024.

MK Dons suffered an agonising relegation from league one last season, and they kick of the new season with a trip to EFL new boys Wrexham on Saturday 5th August 2023.
