Dunstable man, 83, admits killing wife but denies murder
Roger Worby pleaded guilty to manslaughter today
A 84-year-old man has admitted killing his wife but has denied her murder.
Appearing at Luton Crown Court today, Roger Worby, 83, of Kingsbury Avenue, Dunstable, pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to manslaughter.
It's after officers were called to a property in Kingsbury Avenue just after 1.40pm on January 23 to reports that a woman had sustained injuries. Emergency services attended but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another hearing is due to take place on September 5, with a trial set to begin in November.
