Two dogs have been seized during police patrols in Aylesbury.

It was because of the "poor conditions they were being kept in and a suspicion of them having been stolen", according to Thames Valley Police.

Officers were carrying out patrols as part of a rural crime operation when they were seized.

They are now being cared for by a Thames Valley Police partner agency while enquiries are carried out.
