A man from Aylesbury's been convicted of non-recent sex offences in Buckinghamshire.

43-year-old Salman Qureshi, of Eleanor Gardens, was found guilty by a unanimous jury on two counts of assault of a female over 13 by penetration and one count of sexual assault at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday (October 31).

He'll be sentenced on November 29th.

The conviction related to incidents which occurred at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury and Wycombe General Hospital, High Wycombe, between September 2005 and August 2018.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Collette Parker, of Aylesbury Police Station, said: “Qureshi used his trusted position as a Doctor to assault two young women who were in his care.

“We hope this conviction shows that victims of sexual assault can report historical incidents and we will investigate them.”
