Cyclist seriously injured in Tring crash

He's been left with life-threatening injuries

A cyclist is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash in Hertfordshire.

The man who's in his 60s was in a collision with a stationary lorry in Tring at 11.40am yesterday morning (11 July).

It happened in Tring Road near Cow Roast and saw the man airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detective Constable Felicity Moody, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the collision. As part of this, we are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or who saw the lorry or cyclist prior to it to please get in touch.

“We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area and may have captured dash cam footage. Thank you.”
