Cyclist airlifted to hospital after Redbourn crash
No arrests have been made
A cyclist's been left with multiple serious injuries after a crash in Redbourn.
The man in his 40s was cycling on the electronically assisted pedal bike on Redbourn Road yesterday morning, falling onto the roundabout close to the MOT Centre.
A red Kia Rio then collided with the cyclist, who was airlifted to hospital for injuries that require ongoing treatment.
No arrests have been made and Hertfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses, information and footage to help investigations.
Police Sergeant Matt O’Neill, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We’ve been carrying out enquiries since the collision this morning and I am now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch. This includes anyone who also saw the events leading up to the collision.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have caught what happened on dash cam.
