A pub near Aylesbury has had to close for just over a week, as part of coronavirus precautions.

The Bell in Stoke Mandeville say someone close to them tested positive, but all staff were negative and customers have been contacted.

They initially posted on Sunday to say the pub was closed until further notice, whilst testing was carried out.

Someone close to a member of staff had tested positive for Covid-19.

Now they say all staff are negative and those in the pub at the time have been contacted, as per government guidelines.

Staff said on Facebook that if you haven't heard from them, you are not required to book a coronavirus test or self-isolate.

Customers were thanked for their ongoing support.

The pub is due to re-open next Saturday (5/9).
