Emergency services have dealt with a chemical incident in Wooburn Green.

According to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, two chemicals had been mixed, causing a chemical reaction.

It happened at around 12pm yesterday (22 September) in Glory Mill Lane.

The fire service confirmed the site was evacuated, and that Thames Valley Police helped keep cordons in place.

They also said "four people were assessed by South Central Ambulance Service", and added:

"The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and gauntlets.

"They removed a 25-litre chemical container, and used positive pressure ventilation to help clear fumes.

"A plant room has been closed off, and the incident left with the site owners to arrange for the mixed chemicals to be removed."

South Central Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information.
