CCTV released after theft in Thame

Police want to talk to the woman pictured

After a watch was stolen in Thame, police have released CCTV of a woman they want to talk to.

Between 12.40pm and 1pm on Monday 14 December the victim, a 72-year-old man, was outside Robert Dyas in Buttermarket, Thame.

He was approached by a woman who asked a few questions before stealing a watch from the his wrist.

A stainless steel Rolex watch was stolen.

The victim did not sustain any injuries.

Investigating officer PC Edward Dodd, based at Abingdon police station, said:

“If you recognise this woman, or if you think it could be you, please get in touch.

“Likewise, if you witnessed this incident or have any information, we would like to hear from you.
