Car manufacturer in Herts refuses to take part in Black Friday deals
A car manufacturer in Hertfordshire is among many sellers refusing to take part in Black Friday deals
Shoppers are expected to place online purchases or visit stores on this Black Friday, as brands push for sales with money saving deals.
Black Friday sees, every year, a large amount of customers hunt for a bargain, especially on the lead up to Christmas, however not all brands are willing to take part.
The car company Dacia based in Hertfordshire believes deals can be found all year around, and Black Friday can push spontaneous consumption.
UK Managing Director for Dacia, Luke Broad, said: "I think it's just to make a stance because we know that Black Friday is the point of the year where people focus on particularly retailers, whereas we're not about only offering value for money one day of the year."
"If a customer searches for a deal, and I'm not just talking cars, I'm talking phones, electronic devices, if you look hard enough you can find a deal all year round."
"The questions that you ask yourself when buying a car are massive so you have to do the correct research."
Although most deals found on Black Friday can be considered small enough not to have a long term impact on a person's finances, larger items such as vehicles require a longer thought process.
Mr Broad said: "It is a big investment but also it is quite complex to buy a car, the amount of decisions you have to take are such as what do I want? What specifications do I want? What's my budget? How am I going to finance this car?"

Brand Director Luke Broad insisted on the need to think a deal through before going forward with a large investment such as a vehicle.
He said: "My advice to customers not just on Black Friday but whenever they're buying a car, it is a big decision, it's decision number two in terms of size next to buying a house, it's take your time and take a step back and just really make sure you're making the right decision."
