A Buckinghamshire man has been jailed for multiple sex offences against 3 children.

Fayyaz Haider, aged 45, of Doolittle Avenue, appeared at Amersham Crown Court on Friday 4 July, where he was sentenced to six years and four months in prison.

Haider pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a child, three counts of intentional strangulation and two counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

On a number of occasions between 2015 and 2018, and again between 2021 and October 2024, Haider sexually abused two girls and physically abused a boy in High Wycombe over a period of several years.

Police arrested Haider on October 17 2024, and he was charged with the offences two days later on October 19 and remanded into custody.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Laura Green, of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based in Aylesbury, said: “I would like to commend the victims in this case for the strength and bravery they have shown throughout this investigation.

“This sentence highlights our commitment to supporting those who have suffered abuse in childhood, no matter when the offending took place, and bringing their abusers to justice."
