£200,000 of jewellery stolen in Bucks armed robbery, then left at bus stop

Police are trying to find 3 men who broke into a shop

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Beaconsfield.

The incident occurred at around 10.15am yesterday morning (Tuesday 8th March) at Elite, a jewellery store on The Highway.

Three men forced entry to the store and were armed with baseball bats and a meat cleaver and threatened staff.

They stole jewellery worth an estimated £200,000, before leaving in the direction of Burkes Road.

They left in a grey Audi, with the partial registration of GK15.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Officers located the discarded jewellery at a bus stop on the A40, at the end of Burkes Road a short time later.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mark Banham, based at Amersham police station said:

“We are appealing for witnesses at two places in relation to this incident.

“Firstly, at the jewellery store and then also anyone that witnessed the offenders discarding the jewellery at the bus stop a short time later.

“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone that has dash-cam footage from Burkes Road and was in the area between 10.15am and 10.30am today.
