Light aircraft crashes near Wycombe Air Park

The crash happened around 10.30 am in Wycombe.

A two seater, propeller-driver light aircraft came down in a field north of Wycombe Air Park.

Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, one from Beaconsfield, Wycombe Air Park's fire crew and an officer attended.

The pilot is not believed to have been injured, and was left in the care of the ambulance service.

Firefighters used foam to deal with a spill of around 100 litres of fuel.
