A road traffic collision has been reported on the A41 in Buckinghamshire.

Thames Valley Police have shared on social media they are on the scene of a road traffic collision on the A41 towards Waddesdon, at the cross road.

Emergency services are believed to be on scene.

Its believed three cars were involved in the road traffic collision.

Police say traffic is building in the area and people are asked to avoid it if possible.

Bucks Fire and Rescue have confirmed that one appliance and crew from Aylesbury, three from Oxfordshire and an officer attended.

Firefighters used rescue equipment to release two men, injured. They were left in the care of paramedics.

Police have confirmed that as of 5pm the road is now open again.
