Positivity boxes have been sent to patients of Stoke Mandeville Hospital and beyond.

A Buckinghamshire teenager has set up a scheme to help improve people's mental health, including those at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury.

Alice works on the boxes in her spare time, and they include a range of things to try and improve someone who is struggling with their mental health.

She says she really enjoys making them:

"In the packages there are items like shampoo, shower gel and tampons as not everyone can access them.

"As well as bath bombs, sweets and other self care items. There are sometimes items donated by local businesses too.

"I've delivered boxes to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and posted over 250 to people around the country.

"I started making them so people knew they were not alone and there will always be someone there to listen.

"Positivity and self care and really important at the moment normal life is being destroyed and I enjoy making people smile and feel a bit better about their life."

However, they are all sourced by donations whether it be through Alice's gofundme page or the wishlist she set up on Amazon.
