Thames Valley Police have confirmed arrests were made yesterday.

Offices attended an anti-HS2 protest off the A41, near Fleet Marsden, Buckinghamshire where four arrests were made.

The four were arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass, with two also being arrested for assault on an emergency worker.

Thames Valley Police say their officers strive to facilitate the rights the public have to protest and demonstrate peacefully. As well as allowing HS2 to conduct their lawful business.

Officers will only become involved if there is evidence of criminality, or anyone taking direct action to disrupt lawful activity.
