Isaac from Stone, Buckinghamshire, set himself the new years resolution to do a charity cycle ride.

That grew into the task he completed over the weekend, cycling 21 miles to raise money for the NHS.

After completing the ride over the weekend donations have continued to come in and nearly £2,000 has been raised.

Isaac has been doing most of the cycling after home schooling which has been tiring:

"Usually when I have something really important or if I'm really tired because I've been cycling I don't get to sleep.

"I even know how to set off on a bike by myself.

"We Issac and his family went on the first cycle all together and people have been beeping their horns at us to stop and give us money.

"Our target was £100 and when I went to sleep on the first night we already got £100."

Isaac's mum says he was inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore, and was only spurred on to help when the news of his passing was shared.

She says its been amazing to watch Isaac:

"We were amazed when the Nightingale Hospitals were being set up and he said he wanted to give some of his pocket money to buy beds for the sick people.

"We were amazed again when we were having a conversation over dinner about new years resolutions and he said he wanted to do a cycle ride for the NHS.

"Even though he is tired he keeps going everyday and we have been really humbled by the reaction and we are very proud of our little man."
