Buckinghamshire residents struggling due to bereavement are being encouraged to share their experiences.

The founder of Covid-19 Families UK is urging Buckinghamshire residents and beyond to reach out if they are struggling over the Christmas period.

Earlier in the year Debbie lost her father to coronavirus, and decided to create the group so local people could share their experiences, the latest government guidance and support.

Now they have 33 regions with groups across England and Wales with more forming each week.

She says

"People can talk to each other, they can talk to any of the bereavement groups, they can talk to their friends and family.

"Just please please don't sit at home thinking you have nobody to speak to.

"There will always be somebody on hand on either the national bereavement sites or our groups who will be there who you can talk to.

"If you are struggling please don't sit in silence, please speak out."

The announcement that Buckinghamshire would move into Tier 4 over Christmas has disrupted lots of peoples plans, and support networks.

Debbie is urging people to connect in other ways where possible.

For her first Christmas without her father she is planning video calls with the family, until they can reunite properly.
