Buckingham's dog show goes virtual

Nominations for categories including 'Dog Most Like its Owner' are open.

Everything seems to have been over a video call this year - now Buckingham's dog show is joining in the trend.

They can't go ahead as normal, but are still looking for the most 'Fabulous Fella' or 'Gorgeous Gal', in what's been described as 'a completely innovative' show.

Cllr Robin Stuchbury, Chairman of the Town Centre & Events Committee for Buckingham Town Council said:

"Thanks to the hard work within the office and from Councillor Lisa O 'Donoghue, we are pleased to announce that we will be organising an online dog show.

"I hope this will not be a substitute but a completely innovative and different way of doing an event so we can maintain and continue the dog show this year."

To enter all you need to do is send in your photos by email: events@buckingham-tc.gov.uk **

Give your name and your dog's name, the class you're entering and include a valid email address. Unfortunately, submissions via Facebook will not count.

You may enter as many classes as you want but it must be a different photo each time.

The winner of each class will go through to this class and be judged by Buckingham's Mayor Cllr Geraldine Collins.

Closing date for all entries is by 12 noon Friday 4th September 2020. Then throughout the following week commencing 7th September the Council will share entries and announce the winners.
