Witness appeal launched after boy kidnapped in High Wycombe
He was returned home several hours later having been assaulted
A witness appeal has been launched after a boy was kidnapped in High Wycombe.
At around 3:30pm on Friday (29 October) the victim was in the Loudwater area of High Wycombe when he was approached by a group of males and forced to get into a dark blue car.
He was taken to another location and returned home several hours later having been assaulted.
The victim had his iPhone 12 and a body-warmer stolen during the incident.
He sustained a cut to his right hand, a large cut to his cheek, which required stitching, as well as lumps to his head.
He also lost two teeth and had his hair cut.
The victim was treated in hospital for these injuries, but has since been discharged.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Emily Evans, of Slough CID, said:
“I am appealing to anybody who was in the Loudwater area yesterday afternoon who believe that they witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“This happened in the middle of the afternoon, and I am sure that people will have witnessed this.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have been driving in the area to please check your dash-cam and contact the force if it has captured anything that can assist this investigation.
