Bletchley man charged with terrorism offences

Officers from Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) have charged a man in connection with terrorism offences.

Abdullah Yousef, aged 23, of Galapagos Grove, Bletchley, who was arrested on 16 December, was charged today (22/12) with the following offences:

One count of membership of a proscribed organisation, namely Islamic State, contrary to Section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

One count of possession of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Four counts of dissemination of a terrorist publication, contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Yousef, who is of Middle Eastern descent, has been remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (23/12).
