Two men have been convicted in connection with the death of a man following an altercation in Buckinghamshire.

Beau Robinson, 35, was involved in a fight with a group of men in the town of Burnham on the 20th of June, 2021.

After fighting with the men at about 1:10 p.m. on Wyndham Crescent, Mr Robinson collapsed from his injuries.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Burnham to try and treat the victim, but was sadly later pronounced dead.

Two men were later arrested and charged for their role in the attack which led to Mr Robinson's murder.

Daniel Hicks, aged 31, with no fixed address, and Martin Fleming, 20 of Bideford Spur, Slough were implicated in the case.

Following a lengthy police investigation, both men pleaded guilty to their respective offences at a hearing at Reading Crown Court.

Hicks pleaded guilty to the alternative offence of manslaughter and possession of a bladed article, while Fleming pleaded guilty to violent disorder.

Both Hicks and Fleming pleaded guilty to their offences at Reading Crown Court.

Both men have now been reprimanded and will remain in police custody until their sentencing hearing on February 28th.

Speaking about the case, Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Sally Spencer from Thames Valley Police welcomed the verdict and hoped that it would come as comfort to Mr Robinson's family.

"First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family and friends of Beau Robinson, who tragically died as a result of this incident last year," she said.

"I would like to pay tribute to the family and friends of Beau, who have had to endure months of heartbreak while we investigated this incident and prepared for a trial. Beau’s family continue to be supported by Specially Trained Officers.”
