Six arrested after violent disorder outside Barton Le Clay pub

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of fighting and a stabbing

Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent disorder outside the Waggon and Horses pub in Barton Le Clay over the weekend.

The incident occurred at 11 pm on Saturday, 10th January, when officers were called to reports of several people fighting in the pub car park, allegedly armed with bats.

One man is believed to have been stabbed during the altercation. A knife was later found at the scene.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed that two men, one in his teens and another in his 20s, were arrested for grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and wounding with intent.

Additionally, four other individuals—three men and a woman—were arrested for violent disorder.

Detectives from Bedfordshire Police’s CID are investigating the incident and have asked anyone who witnessed it or has doorbell or dashcam footage recorded around the time to come forward.
