The new permanent banking hub will be at the site of the last permanent branch which shut September 2022. The old Lloyds premises is at 19 Market square, no date has yet been confirmed for when the permanent hub will open.

While locals wait for the new permeant hub, they can still access a temporary service in the Buckingham Library.

Different banking branches will operate from the temporary hub on different days:

  • Tuesday – NatWest
  • Wednesday – Nationwide
  • Thursday – Lloyds Banking Group
  • Friday – Barclays (coming soon)

The temporary hub is open Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm and will stay open until the permanent hub is available for locals.

The Banking hubs are aimed at many groups in our community including business owners, market stall holders and people without access to online banking services.

Gareth Oakley, CEO at Cash Access UK: “We’re committed to protecting nationwide access to cash... the temporary Banking Hub will ensure residents’ access to cash needs are supported, while work progresses on the permanent location."
