Aylesbury schools send out 'stranger danger' warnings to parents and guardians

Its after reports of children being approached by strangers

Several schools across Buckinghamshire have sent letters/emails to parents.

After reports of incident's where a stranger has approached a student, several schools in Aylesbury have sent warning letters to parents and guardians.

Schools who appear to have sent these letters and emails include Broughton Junior School, Bierton CE Combined School and Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School, among others in Buckinghamshire.

They share summaries of incidents reported to them, with one saying a boy was approached by a man in a car offering a lift saying 'I know your mum and dad, jump in the back and I'll give you a lift'.

They advise parents and guardians to make sure children are aware of personal safety measures, encouraging them to have the 'stranger danger' talk.

So far in the reports provided the children did not go with the stranger, with passes by intervening in some cases.

Thames Valley Police has reportedly been contact by the schools and families involved.

The schools and TVP have been contacted for comment.
