Police were called out to a school in Aylesbury this morning.

Parents were contacted by Booker Park School just after 9.30 to tell them about the incident.

The school was in lockdown for around 10 minutes and ended when the police arrived, an email to parents said.

The email, which Greatest Hits Radio has seen, said:

"All children are safe and no child was involved, although a very small number of children may have witnessed the event.

"Children may be aware of the police presence on site."

Parents were asked to reassure children that officers were at the school to help them and make sure everyone was safe.

Now Buckinghamshire Council has clarified what happened this morning.
