Aylesbury primary & secondary schools closed

Two schools in Aylesbury are closed today.

A power cut has meant no running hot water and heating at Aylesbury Vale Academy and Berryfields CofE schools.

AVA say they will not be able to get these back up and running today.

In a statement this morning, the school said:

"Engineers are working to resolve the situation and we will notify you as soon as possible if the school is able to open tomorrow.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
