Aylesbury police officer charged with breach of data protection

Two alleged incidents occurred while on and off duty in 2024

A serving Thames Valley Police officer has been charged with breaching the Data Protection Act, after an investigation by the force.

PC Lily Maxey, who is based at Aylesbury Police Station, has been charged by postal requisition with two counts of breaching data protection.

The charges relate to two separate incidents, one which allegedly took place in October 2024 while on duty and another in December 2024 while off duty.

Scheduled court appearance

PC Maxey has been suspended from duties and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday, 1st December 2025.
