It's been announced that Aylesbury's ParkLife weekend will go ahead in August.

After being cancelled last year, the Bank Holiday weekend of live music and entertainment is planned to happen as normal - if all covid restrictions are lifted.

All the key features will remain the same - at "Live" (Saturday 28 August) festival-goers will still find nine and a half hours of continuous live music across two stages, the Community Involvement Area, market stalls, a fun fair ride and an array of local businesses serving cold beer and hot food.

The Town Council will be making a few exciting new changes, including the introduction of a brand new "Kids Ent Tent".

More details on this and all the other developments in the coming weeks.

As always "Proms" (Sunday 29 August) will feature the wonderful Aylesbury Concert Band, performing a selection of popular classics as well as the traditional Proms anthems - all wrapped up with a spectacular firework display.

The decision on who to headline this year's festival was an easy decision for the organisers to make.

Back in 2019 local band NBS wowed the crowd with an outstanding set of amazing pop covers. Due to overwhelming public demand - NBS are back to headline this year's show.

So, get your dancing shoes ready, your singing voices prepared and the date in the diary - Aylesbury Town Council can't wait to see you across the August Bank Holiday weekend.

All event plans are subject to there being no government guidelines in place at the time of the event.
