Aylesbury man sentenced for drug offences
As he was detained, he tried to discard a wrap of heroin.
Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been sentenced for drug offences in Aylesbury.
At Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday (16/5), Andrew Short, aged 40, of Churchmere Walk, Aylesbury was sentenced to two years and four months’ imprisonment.
He previously pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin.
On 9 April this year, Short was stopped by officers who suspected that he was involved in the supply of drugs.
As he was detained, he tried to discard a wrap of heroin.
On searching a property linked to Short, officers found a further quantity of the drug.
Short’s mobile phone was examined which contained messages linked to drug dealing.
He was charged on 10 April.
