Aylesbury man given suspended sentence over breaking injunction
Przemyslaw Lazar broke rules imposed on him earlier this year
A man who broke an anti-social behaviour injunction has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Przemyslaw Lazar, aged 37, of no fixed abode, was arrested on 14 April this year after he attended the address of one of the victims that his injunction was put in place to protect at Brooks Mews in Aylesbury.
He was charged the following day (15/4) with breaching the injunction, and pleaded guilty at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court.
In a sentencing hearing on Friday (23/4) at the same court, Lazar was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years.
What did the injunction cover?
The original injunction, which was granted by Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 12 April this year, was in place due to Lazar’s involvement in domestic abuse against two victims in Aylesbury and due to aggressive and violent behaviour towards police officers.
On 14 April, there were reports to police of a disturbance and shouting at an address in Brooks Mews.
Officers attended and located Lazar hiding behind furniture in a bedroom.
He was arrested and charged with breaching the injunction, which is in place until 11 April 2022.
The conditions of the injunction are as follows.
Lazar must not:
- Engage in disorderly behaviour, such as shouting, verbal abuse, use foul language or threatening behaviour towards any person, including police officers and employees of the Chief Constable in any public place.
- Engage in the use or threatened use of violence of aggressive behaviour towards any person, including police officers and employees of the Chief Constable.
- Fail to follow reasonable requests given by police officers or employees of the Chief Constable.
- Enter the area surrounding Brooks Mews, Aylesbury
- Enter the area surrounding Cleveland Road, Aylesbury
- Enter the area surrounding Bearbrook School, Aylesbury
Lazar must also not instruct or encourage any other person to do anything that he is forbidden to do by the terms of the order.
Investigating officer PC Julie Price, based at Aylesbury police station, said:
“Lazar breached this injunction within two days of it being imposed, and he has now been sentenced to a suspended term of imprisonment at court as a result.
“The injunction is in place to prevent further incidents of anti-social behaviour, and I hope that this suspended prison term will make Lazar think again before repeating any of the behaviour that resulted in the injunction in the first place.
“Thames Valley Police do not tolerate such behaviour and will always seek appropriate action to prevent this from occurring in our communities.”
