Thousands of people showed an interest in enjoying the carol service with a difference in Aylesbury tonight.

However, due to tier 4 restrictions coming in across Buckinghamshire the service will now only be available to watch online.

Gareth Lane is Vicar at the Church on Berryfields:

"Because this year has been so hard on everyone, the church community really wanted to bring joy into our communities and I guess it has captured the imaginations of people.

"They have thought 'Yes, we want to get into the festive spirit!'"

The event has been organised between Gareth's church, St. Peter's Quarrendon, Kingsbrook Community Church, Broughton Church and St James Bierton, with the help of Aylesbury Town Council.

To keep everyone safe you can watch the event as it happens via a live stream on YouTube:
