An Aylesbury medical centre has posted what they say is the vaccine roll-out programme for the area.

It is being reported that the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out programme for Aylesbury has been organised, with Berryfield's Medical Centre posting on social media what they say are details of it.

According to the post on Facebook the process will begin on January 18th.

A total of 9 practices are said to be forming to deliver the vaccine from a central station at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

Roll-out is expected to continue with the government priority group system and this will decide the order that residents are offered the vaccine.

Locals, as with the wider vaccination programme, have been asked not to contact their registered surgery asking for the vaccine in the post.

They have instead been reminded that they will be contacted when it is their turn to have the two-step vaccination.
