Police investigate attempted murder in Milton Keynes

It's after two women were hit by a car on Tuesday morning

Two women are in hospital after being hit by a car in Milton Keynes - and police say they're treating it as attempted murder.

At 3.19am on Tuesday morning a grey Mercedes hit the two victims on South Fifth Street.

A woman in her 20s and another in her 30s suffered serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment in hospital.

A large cordon was put in place after the incident and investigators are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Rob Lyne, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about what happened, to please come forward.

“Particularly those who may have dash-cam footage from the area at the time, or relevant CCTV footage.

“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or calling 101, please quote reference 43220578130.
