Man charged with attempted murder in Chalfont St Giles

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, charges have been brought against a man for attempted murder in Chalfont St Giles.

Daniel Macintosh, aged 21, of Berberis Walk, West Drayton, Hillingdon, was charged last night (24 July) with one count of attempted murder and one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Tuesday (23 July) in Albion Crescent, where a man in his sixties was assaulted. The victim sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Macintosh is scheduled to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today (25 July).

Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Dominique Muldoon stated, “Our investigation into this incident continues and we would like to thank the public for your patience and co-operation while we conducted our enquiries.
