A search warrant was conducted at an address in Stevenage on Friday (28 March), by Hertfordshire Constabulary‘s County Lines Investigation Unit, supported by the Operational Support Group.

During the operation police say Jordan Nganda, aged 23, of Mendip Way, Stevenage, was arrested and later charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).

Detective Sergeant Chris Cowell, from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Command, said: “This latest operation is part of a long running investigation into the ‘Rico’ drug line, which is concerned with the supply of hard rugs and exploitation of vulnerable people in the Stevenage area.

“These drug lines are run by organised crime groups who use violence and commit a whole range of crimes that pose a real threat to the community. Our investigations depend on information from members of the public to help us crack down on drug-related crime.

"Any information you can provide, no matter how small it may seem, could help us to identify and apprehend drug dealers.”
