Appeal for information after man stabbed in Luton
The victim, a man in his forties, was airlifted to hospital
Bedfordshire Police are appealing for information after a man sustained several stab wounds in Luton.
Two men attacked the victim, a man in his forties, near the junction of Manor Road and Park Street at around 5:30pm on Saturday (April 29).
The victim was airlifted to hospital and suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.
Another member of the public was threatened by two Asian men in the 20s before it is believed they left the scene on a motorbike.
PC Thomas Walter from Bedfordshire Police, investigating, said: “Violence of this nature is totally unacceptable and we are closing the net on those responsible.
“We believe this was a targeted attack and I would encourage anyone who was in the area at the time, saw anything which can help our investigation and especially anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage to contact us or Crimestoppers.
“You don’t have to give your name if you don’t want to and your help can ensure some violent and dangerous people are taken off the streets.
“Over the past fortnight we have put serious and violent offenders behind bars for 113 years – and are determined to keep taking robust action against these criminals.”
