The A41 is closed in both directions after a 'serious' crash.

It is shut from College Road North (Aston Clinton) to A4251 (Tring/Northchurch Turn Off, Tring).

Traffic is said to be slow in the area.

Officers have confirmed a large section of the road was closed at around 4.40pm.
