A40 closed in both directions after crash

The A40 Oxford Road is closed in both directions this afternoon (27 May) after a crash.
It is shut from the A355 to the BP Garage.
But, traffic is said to be "coping well".
The road closed at around 1pm.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has since confirmed there was a collision involving two cars on the A40 Oxford Road at Gerrards Cross.
Firefighters released a woman who was injured.
A man was also hurt but was not trapped.
They were both left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The fire service said one appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Beaconsfield and an officer attended.
