It's after national problems yesterday

This morning (June 26) Hertfordshire Police have confirmed that some members of the public in Hemel Hempstead are still experiencing no dial tone and are unable to make an outgoing call to 999 from their landline.

The issues are continued from disruption yesterday (June 25) across the country with a technical fault, resulting in a back-up system being put in place.

BT are looking into the fault and whilst the back-up is in place and working for many places, such as the rest of Hertfordshire, police have this morning recognised the difficulties for those in Hemel Hempstead.

Hertfordshire Police have said there is no expected impact to the EE Network and no report of impacts on internet services including the use of mobile phones.

Members of the public are being reminded to call 000 or 111 in the normal way where they can, for those with genuine emergencies.
